Stanmore and Edgeware Golf Centre lies between Elstree and Stanmore on Brockley Hill, a stone’s throw away from the M1 (Tel. 0208 420 6222). It’s quite an area for golf, with the venerable Stanmore Golf Club, Edgewarebury, Grim’s Dyke, Hartsbourne, Elstree, Mill Hill, Pinner Hill, and Centenary Park all within a short drive.
